Course Details & General Information
PBL & TBL – project & task based learning have a lot in common, but also they differ by their teaching focus. While PBL concentrates on executing complex activities and integrating different subjects content and knowledge to find a right answer to the project questions, and eventually create a solution that relates to the real-surrounding context, TBL accomplishes its fundamental goals through achieving strong language skills and competencies. Both methods motivate development of a lifelong learning process, needed for getting abilities for the present/future labour market and for daily life advancements.Â
The participants will get the real-world related project task and they will connect different content/subjects knowledge to find the right solution and to create their own product that refers to preserving cultural heritage.Â
Although both methods put a student in the centre of learning, that does not mean that only a single student executes activities. The course forte is on team work, because teamwork is the basis for both methods: PBL and TBL. As a naturally normal phase after the complex work, reflection and peer assessment is an essential part of this course.
