Course Objectives & Learning Outcomes

Especially designed for teachers, school leaders, project coordinators and school staff at A2 (pre-intermediate) level
Focus on Everyday Communication: conversational drill & practice in real-life context, i.e. in greetings, introductions, and simple social exchanges.
Practical Vocabulary: Expand word knowledge for daily life, travel, school/work settings, and common situations.

Listening & Understanding: Develop skills to follow short conversations, announcements, instructions, and real-life classroom or school scenarios.
Speaking Confidence: Practice pronunciation, intonation, and simple dialogues through mini role-plays, conversational drills, and gamified activities.
Reading Comprehension: Understand short texts such as notices, emails, and short articles.

Step Toward B1: Strengthen the foundation needed for moving into more complexgrammar, longer texts, and more independent communication.

Day 1 – Building Confidence & Foundations

Activating grammar units: Past Simple (regular & irregular), prepositions of place and time, and basic conjunctions.

Day 3 – Speaking & Writing in Real-Life Contexts
Theme: Everyday communication and travel situations

Expanding vocabulary related to travel and tourism.

Writing a postcard using correct structure, tone, and descriptive language.

Day 4 – Gamified Field Class & Cultural Engagement
Theme: Experiential learning through gamification and cultural exploration

Game scavenger hunt: “Discovering Split.”

Developing reading comprehension and logical thinking through real-world tasks.

Practicing how to summarize a story effectively.

Course Details & General Information
This course is designed for school leaders, teachers, and staff in educational institutions who participate in Erasmus+ projects but feel insecure about their English skills. Aimed at participants with pre-intermediate A2 language competence, it provides a supportive and motivating environment where learners can build confidence in speaking and writing. The course removes the fear of communication, helping the course participants actively and independently take part in international opportunities.
Through interactive gamified lessons and a field-based scavenger hunt set in cultural heritage sites, participants will practise English in real-life contexts. These engaging activities combine language learning with teamwork, problem-solving, and cultural discovery, making the process fun, memorable, and practical. The unique approach fosters natural language use while connecting participants to the richness of European cultural values.
By the end of the course, participants will have the confidence and skills to communicate effectively in English, both in professional and social settings, and consequently, participants will feel more empowered to join Erasmus+ projects without hesitation. They will be prepared to take part in Erasmus+ projects, contribute actively to international collaboration, and represent their institutions properly.

Our Erasmus+ course spans a total of 5 days, meticulously structured to maximize both learning and exploration.
After a lunch break, the afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM focuses on practical activities, allowing you to apply new skills in real-world scenarios.
Each day begins at 9:00 AM with a thematic lecture followed by interactive workshops until noon.
The day concludes with free time from 3:00 PM onwards for personal exploration or relaxation in the picturesque city of Split.
