Course Details & General Information
Teaching occupation, among other academic qualifications and standards, implies a knowledgeable, skilful and competent teacher. English language competence is considered as one of the standard ones, because of the ability to communicate, understand, and consequently broaden personal and professional horizons.
This course is designed to motivate participants to use English in guided, engaging, and gamified activities centred on everyday life and cultural heritage — a topic of high priority within Erasmus+ standards and personal and professional development. Participants will use targeted A1 vocabulary and grammar to express their thoughts across a variety of tasks, while also discovering how digital tools can make language learning more dynamic and immediately applicable in their own teaching practice.
Throughout the course, teachers will be guided step by step to peer assess each other’s work, fostering awareness of the importance of assessment, self-reflection, and self-evaluation — skills they can carry directly into their own classrooms.
All working approaches are included: individual, pair, and group work, alongside a field class that brings meaningful cultural heritage implementation into the learning experience and supports cross-curricular goals.
Guidance and tutoring during the course imply step-by step approach, professional and motivating assistance, monitoring of participants’ progress and valid continuous feedback.
