Course Details & General Information
Storytelling is inherent to human kind. It is the first artistic expression and it goes from generation to generation. Storytelling uses a picture as the basis and allows interpretations in various media, starting with non-verbal expressions to AI generated and aided stories. Whether it is a bed-time story or a blockbuster film, a character in action that brings personal or collective meaning can send a message, boost memory, sell a product or boost creativity.
Participants will develop essential skills in presenting and public speaking, using storytelling as a powerful tool to engage audiences. The course emphasizes the integration of action, emotion, and body to make narratives come to life, while also exploring the transformative role of music and bibliotherapy. Participants will create a stop-motion animation to tell their story. Practical exercises and group projects will help participants enhance their creative expression with ICT, storytelling confidence and cooperation.
By the end of the course, participants will gain a well-rounded understanding of how to use storytelling effectively in various contexts – in the classroom, on stage, in touristic and promotional settings – enabling them to inspire and captivate any audience.

Life creates stories. Stories entertain; stories heal. When a story is told, we are all ears ready to be taken into another universe. I am a language teacher whose personal goal is to never stop turning ideas into action. If you ask my colleagues and friends about me, they will tell you I make them laugh, and that even wasn’t my goal (I was only being serious).
