With Lina Edu Erasmus+ courses the school year becomes easier, more enjoyable and less stressed.
How?
Following lines will tell you how Lina Edu teacher training programmes can help with your performance in your classes.
Getting started
A common feeling that every single teacher can confirm is that one of mild butterflies in our stomach just before the beginning of a new school year.
Why is that so?
Personally, after 20+ teaching years, I could say there’s no such school start that can make me excited and little bit nervous, but it would be a white lie.
I feel nervous too, more to say excited and little bit worried if everything I’ve planned for the very beginning is fine. Moreover, September is in my opinion the toughest month in a teachers’ new school year adventure, because there is a pile of different, but equally important small and smaller duties, tasks, paperwork to be done, and of course within a limited time. Our handling all these September challenges is like a super power multifunctional device that runs on a huge amount of enthusiasm, diligence and of course multiple cups of coffee!
We don’t know what’s more challenging: to do everything on time or to handle out expected and those out of blue urgent, official forms that needed already to be sent yesterday!
When we think of classes, and the quality of our classes in September, they need to be on a high level, because teachers are fresh, highly motivated at the beginning of a new school year, and their plans are ambitious as well, and second. That way September is possible to “survive” with less stress, because teachers’ plans solidly foresee difficulties of the collision of various responsible out of class actions that need to be done during this chaotic month.
If we add all this mentioned to a less skilful teacher, teacher beginner or a teacher with a less self-confidence, who is involved in the heat of the action without a sufficient training, then the rest of the school year becomes unbearably difficult.
For all the colleagues, who are not so sure about their teaching plans, methods, visions, Lina Edu course is really helpful: https://linaedu.eu/courses/teaching-with-strong-self-confidence-course-for-teachers-beginners/.
Don’t wait the next school year begins in an awkward and stressful feeling of being insecure about your teaching.
Replanning and resetting
Teachers’ work is based on planning, because of complexity of that profession.
Starting with subject curriculum on annual level, then on a topic or month, and smaller one, lesson plan towards teacher training plan, teachers organize their new school year by different categories and it takes a lot of time, effort, self-reflection, learning and creativity as well!
When a teacher sees that the plan is not functioning that well, then it is time to reconsider a new plan, or at least the reconstructed one.
What’s more difficult: to create a plan from the scratch or “just” to redesign it?
That’s not an easy question, but what’s certain, is that both versions seek for professional attitude towards finding right solutions. If we see that our planned activities are not quite efficient to lead our students to achieving lesson outcome, then we need to analyse the lesson plan from the beginning to the end in order to make it effective and outcomes achievable. Replanning can be demotivating, because it gives us a sense of a light failure and it takes additional experience to make it right. Teachers’ motivation can easily decrease then, along with self-confidence. A clear vision of our path in this school year is becoming a blurry one.

Creativity
Teachers’ exposing their work, attitudes, knowledge, skills to different groups of students on daily basis is psychologically demanding and it can be related in a way to one’s of the actors’ performances on the stage.
The audience is there, for sure.
Which one is tougher?
Hm, not quite sure if that, teachers’ one is easier one!
This part is draining our inner, gigantic resources of creativity, and it is normally to expect that. Teaching, in other words, transferring knowledge and motivating students to use the knowledge in skilful ways requires a lot of creatively set engaging actions, approaches, ways, and up-to-date techniques and methods.
